Julia Hendon

I began doing resin art one winter when I was missing the beach something awful. Going through the motions of mixing the epoxy and using my heat gun to mix the colors on the canvas created a sense of calm I usually don't find unless I'm near the ocean. Creating waves was a trickier feat but one that keeps me challenged and engaged. To this day, I can anticipate what I want a piece to look like but resin has a mind of it's own and I'm constantly surprised by the beauty this medium creates.
